Super place, excellent coffee and fabulous madeleines. The owner is a really friendly and helpful guy. Made us feel very welcome.
My grandmother loved LAMOTHE madeleines and I haven't gone back for years except today....all my memories reappeared with the good taste of my childhood. I would come back again. The manager is very kind and he loves what he does. Very kind staff, beautiful place with terrace overlooking the fountain I recommend 200%
On a rainy day in Dax, we took refuge in Madeleine Lamothe, just in front of it is the Fontaine Chaude. Every bite of their muffins conquered us with their soft texture and delicious almond flavor, complemented perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. The friendly attention of the staff added warmth to our experience as we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. A perfect break in the middle of the rainy weather. We will return!
