  On the morning of Sunday October 6, 2024, the Lugazaut brasserie and the bed and breakfast organized an event. 2 running races for adults, trails of 10 or 15 km, were offered in the area and the adjoining forest. Other races for children aged 5 to 14 completed the racing offering. For my part, having put away running for a few years (!), I more reasonably signed up with friends for the 4 km gourmet walk with 3 stages. After a short walk of a few hundred meters which introduced us to the beautiful airial in which the brasserie and the guest room are located, we quickly arrived at the first gourmet stop installed in the open air under the oaks on this beautiful sunny day . After playing darts, we enjoyed a plate of cold meats, spreads and a slice of sheep. The products offered were local and excellent. After tasting Lugazaut beer and a newly created drink, a mix of Sauterne and tonic, we went in search of the second step that was proposed, namely grilled duck, but we ignored it because the secret of each tasting was well kept. The Landes forest, made up of oaks and pine plantations, distracted us with its beauty and serenity as well as the multiplicity of mushrooms encountered! an ideal setting to get lost and arrive directly at the 3rd and final stage. Having informed the organizers of this wandering, they explained to us a shortcut to reach the main course and even offered to take us there by car. Proposals that we declined to taste, carpe diem in this beautiful place near a lagoon, a plate of sheep's cheese from the Maillas sheepfold accompanied by a trilogy of Gascony wines from the Horgelus estate. A special mention to the homemade sourdough bread made by the manager of the guest room. Indeed, part of the moult resulting from the fermentation of the beer is used there for our greatest pleasure, resulting in a sourdough bread with excellent taste, well risen with a soft crumb and a well-cooked crust. Bravo to the baker. The whole sporty event concluded with a throw of balls into a basketball hoop! Return to the brewery where we got to know the estate team better and some of the producers who organized this great event which I hope will be offered in 2025... We're pre-registering! The discovery of the brewery site, its airial, a beautiful walk in the forest, interspersed with quality breaks and a day of simple and rich conversations and exchanges, what a beautiful memory, what a beautiful experience!

  We recommend this beautiful brasserie without hesitation. We had the opportunity to come to the site several times for various events. We have always been very well received! William and Camille are generous people, attentive and the icing on the cake is their beers are excellent! To consume without moderation!

  We had a great time with friends during our visit to the brewery. Magnificent setting and warm welcome. The beers are delicious, there really is something for everyone. I recommend!
