In the heart of the Pays de Born, not far from Mimizan and Biscarrosse, Parentis-en-Born welcomes all visitors curious about its heritage and its typically Landes environment.
The village borders Lake Biscarrosse-Parentis and is located in the heart of the Landes de Gascognes forest. The ocean is only 20 minutes away and 30 minutes from Arcachon.
Parentis-en-Born's unmissable sites are its 15th century Saint-Pierre church, its war memorial, its lake, its Roland Portalier arenas and its mythical ferias, its former oil stations which have made Parentis-en-Born the " Country of black gold”.
The beaches and the lake are supervised and it is possible to do several water sports: sailing clubs, pedal boats, boat trips, etc.
