  We stayed at this site for 4 nights in July this year. The site was very quiet indeed with an abundance of empty pitches. The site is run by a lovely family who were very pleasant. Our pitch size was good and the hedges were well maintained. It appears that there is still more to be developed on the site but that did not take away the excellent condition of the rest of the site. The pool area was lovely and clean and so were the toilet and shower facilities. We were each given a card for use in the shower, which I have never come across before on any other site. This allowed you to have two x five minutes showers per day. This was fine for us as we mainly used our caravan shower but it may be an issue for other people (the times we did use the showers, the five minutes was adequate). There is a bar with a limited but adequate menu. We ate there just once and the pizza’s were delicious. It was a shame the site was so empty while we were there as the family have put a lot of work into this site and it is worthy of more customers. While we were there the Fete de Bayonne was being held. This is a five day festival in Bayonne and it appeared that EVERYONE in the local and surrounding areas attended. We just happened to get there on the first day of the festival and luckily enough we got there early in the morning and found a parking space. The festival is a must to visit if you are in the area at this time of year. Absolutely everyone wore the traditional festival clothing of white with a red scarf or belt. We certainly were the odd one’s out in our normal clothes, however lots of people chatted to us and made us feel very welcome. We also visited Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz, both well worth a visit.

  This is a beautiful campsite situated in a quiet town not far from Bayonne. Family run and they couldnt have been more helpful and friendlyl. The site is very well kept and the facilties are well maintained. Pool area is lovely although this is not something we use. Wifi was a bit patchy but this was the only ( slight) downside. Great base for day trips to Bayonne & Biaritzz and the South West Coast but also its only 50 minutes to San Sebastian in Spain, 1 hrs 30 to Pamplona. Both worth a visit. Locals were pleasant & helpful too when we had a bit of mechanical trouble. Would definitely recommend.

  Excellent campsite with fantastic amenities. The site is immaculately well maintained and is run by a hugely friendly team. Would highly recommend this site and we will definitely return.
