Sébastien Gleize, trained at the School Boulle (graduate of the Métiers d'art), very quickly emerged from furniture making to start cutting wood, wood, especially oak, chestnut and African mahogany.

He lived three years in Mali, and was undeniably influenced by this experience. He taught woodworking for about thirty years, three of them in Mali.

For the past four years, he has temporarily suspended his exhibitions to look for a place of creation in the Landes, then to renovate it.

Since August 2017, he has devoted himself entirely to his artistic work, at Léon, in the Landes.
