Hike on the Site of the 9 Fountains in Mont-de-Marsan

As part of the creation of the PNU ( Urban Natural Park ) of Mont-de-Marsan, the site of the Nine Fountains (in fr)( in Bostens) has been redeveloped so that walkers in search of nature can discover the natural heritage, culture and traditional Landes architecture. The 9 Fontaines site is a former farm . Over 20 ha, several landscapes follow one another with characteristic flora and fauna. Walkers of all ages and fitness levels will enjoy this nature getaway . Visit the airial Larousse: an airial is a typically Landes place, a meadow with a few pines, other leafy trees and a construction for residential and/or agricultural purposes. Here you will also see a bread oven . You like animals ? Take your binoculars and walk around the ponds, an observation area conducive to encountering the European Pond Terrapin (a turtle), the walk will continue between pastures and meadows, in a bucolic setting, all year round. A dormitory for pilgrims and two tourist accommodations are also located in this space, which is therefore positioned on the way to Santiago de Compostela (by the Voie de Vézelay, the GR®654 Via Lemovicensis).

Mont-de-Marsan is a dynamic town.
